About the Role
The Account Executive will be a driven strategic thinker, working closely with our current and prospective PIM/MDM and data governance clients, to develop solutions that meet the Client’s business needs. In this role you will be the trusted advisor in formulating client-centric strategies that will enable us to deepen client relationships and drive top-line revenue growth for our organization.
You will uncover new prospects and bring together Sitation’s expertise to help our client’s deliver their most critical business outcomes – driving profitable delivery, influencing the Client’s strategy and expanding Sitation’s footprint and growth.The ideal candidate will have superior communication skills, enjoy consultative selling, and have experience architecting and solutioning complex PIM/MDM and data governance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, plan, prepare and execute strategic solutions for our existing and prospective client base
- Maintain a consistent and predictable sales pipeline
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during the sales process, connecting the technology, design and final solution to meet client’s business needs
- Work strategically and tactically to drive demand generation activities, qualification and opportunities to close
- Target, develop and nurture new key channels and partnerships for Salsify/PIM
- Attend and represent Sitation at industry events
- Develop insights into the nuances of attracting clients in the use of PIM and associated services
- Share insights and best practices with others members of Sitation and encourage the culture of learning throughout the organization
- Log and record all client information, interactions, insights project and opportunities accurately
- Collaborate with project teams to modify proposals and SOWs based on assessment
- Translate business and technical requirements into written proposals, quote/configurations, diagrams, and master service agreements
- Participate in Proof of Concept (PoC) exercises
- Aid the smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales implementation
- Collaborate across departments and functions
- Understand the voice of the customer and share customer feedback and industry trends with our implementation teams
- Become a thought leader in PIM/MDM, communicating the value of Product Information Management and providing our customers with the best solution
Requirements
- 3+ year experience with B2B enterprise software and services sales managing multiple projects and deadlines across time zones and teams
- Ability to help customers understand business value of both software and implementation services to effectively sell tailored solutions.
- Data-driven selling experience with a proven record of successful using sales processes, analytics and methodologies to obtain predictable revenue
- Performance driven with a bias for action and results
- Ability to learn new and complex concepts quickly, building subject matter expertise through effective questioning and listening
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong relationship building, persuasive and negotiation skills
- Strong time management, follow-up and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a technology environment with a natural curiosity and desire to stay informed regarding market trends
- Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, self-starter attitude with an innate desire to meet and exceed expectations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science)

- 100% Remote (Up to 40% travel as needed)
- Compensation commensurate with experience
