Step 1: Installation

While logged in to Salsify, click on the Workflow Library link that should be present in the left hand navigational rail.  Scroll through the list of available workflows until you find one called “AI Product Content Generator – Free Trial – Test Version” by Sitation.

Click on “get started with this template” in the top right of the screen.  This will open the configuration menu for the RoughDraftPro demo.

Step 2: Configuration

Follow the directions on the screen to select which Salsify properties should be used with RoughDraftPro.  Next, select which properties you want to publish your new product content to.  Once input and output properties have been selected, you’re ready to click “install.”  Salsify will automatically create the workflow and take you to the custom workflow screen.

Step 3: Generating Content

Select up to 10 products that you would like to generate content for and add them to the workflow.

How Do I Demo RoughDraftPro in Akeneo?

If you are an Akeneo user, you can also benefit from RoughDraftPro’s content creation prowess. Here’s how you can demo the tool within the Akeneo environment:

Step 1: Installation

While logged into Akeneo, click on the icon for “connect” in the left-hand navigational rail, then select “App Store.” Type “RoughDraftPro” into the search box, then click on the green “connect” button at the bottom right of the RoughDraftPro app tile.

Step 2: Configuration

Using the RoughDraftPro app will take you to a user interface where you will be prompted to select which Family of products you’d like to work with, the attributes you’d like RoughDraftPro to use when generating the content, and which field in which you would like to output the generated product content.

Step 3: Generating Content

After you have selected the output field, you will see a list of products from which you can select up to 10 for content generation. At this stage, you may review the attributes for each product. Click the checkbox for each product you’d like RoughDraftPro to generate content for. Please note: RoughDraftPro will work best with products that have complete data, so we recommend selecting products with high data completion.

Once you have selected your complete list of products, click “Next” near the top right corner of the interface to see a summary of your selections before clicking “Confirm & Generate Content.” When the content generation process is complete, you can review each piece of content and approve or ignore it. Checking the box for “approve” will queue the content for publication to the field you selected during the setup process. Approved content will only publish after each product has been approved/ignored and the “Review & Publish” button has been clicked.
